Kanvas Foundation

Based on a vision of "everyday engagement" we're advocating and providing services that improve everyday life for both children and parents. We regard kindergarten as the first step in a child's lifelong education. In our care children develops safe and sound and in playful ways until they reach the age of primary school.

Kanvas currently runs 55 kindergartens in nine different municipalities across southern Norway. We are more than 900 dedicated professionals taking care of approximately 3000 children.

Kanvas is a non-profit organisation. All profits are reserved for the benefit of our purpose: early childhood education and care. Therefore all funds of Kanvas are reserved to strengthening the competence of our employees, to continuously improve our institutions and to develop and build new kindergartens.
